Today's Herbal was born out of my passion for natural medicine and a gentle approach to health. My journey started with a heart attack while under the "care" of a physician. This experience with allopathic medicine made me aware of, both the dangers and limitations of this narrow-minded approach to medical treatment. I knew then I had to take control of my own healthcare. As I began my research, I found this seemly obscure notion in the history of medicine, Primum non-nocere "First, do no harm". It was obvious that was no longer part of "modern" medicine. A quick listen to the drug ads on television proves that. Healing isn't even mentioned, it's only about suppression of symptoms, and "oh by the way, you may experience these side effects". I ultimately wanted to be healed.
I believed that the creator has provided us with what we need for good health. I just needed to go back to source to learn. It was there, where it became obvious that without a spiritual component, real healing could not take place. I studied spiritual healing and subsequently became a Reiki Master, which opened the door to look at the gifts available to us from the creator. Herbal medicine became my passion. Tea became my preferred approach, natural and gentle. I was looking for a tea blend that would help me sleep. While some things helped a little, nothing was good enough. I began to experiment blending herbs and created my first signature blend. Good Night Tea Blend.
I gave away samples to a multitude of friends and family, the feedback was very positive. People then began to ask me to develop herbal blends for variety of their aches, pains and other complaints. It was then that I realized how many people are looking for a gentle approach to common ailments. In response, I continued researching and blending herbs based on ancient herbal remedies. I created Today's Herbal to market this healing alternative. My private label program was developed to allow you to share these blends with your customers under your own logo and name.
