Catchins found in tea are known as a powerful sterilizing agent, killing germs and bacteria, thereby lowering your chance of getting cavities and gum disease. Tea naturally contains the mineral fluoride which strengthens bones and helps protect against tooth decay.
Tea inhibits viruses.
Drinking tea has been proven in tests to deactivate viruses in your mouth. It has been shown to kill certain bacteria, including almost all those that cause food poisoning. It is also effective against staph.
